What’s Different?

People Are Different

  • One Size Does Not Fit All:We believe that people collaborate with each other in different ways. You share information differently with your employees than you do with your clients or partners.
  • Adaptive Collaboration:eZ Netflow brings a variety of adaptive and quickly configurable services under one umbrella – providing you with tools to collaborate with your team, your customers, your partners or anyone else outside of your organization…in different ways.
  • Process Is Key

  • Process Driven: eZ Netflow addresses end-to-end business processes spanning profit centers, production units, people and applications. These processes can cross the boundaries of departments and corporations to be inclusive of employees, customers, partners and suppliers
  • Extended Workspaces: Collaborate on your own time by sharing files, managing projects or growing ideas in a process-enabled, secure workspace, spanning multiple departments and organizations.
  • Why?

eZ Netflow enables your people to work together, on enterprise level projects, organizing their time, assigning them specific tasks, sharing documents, knowledge and ideas. Designed for easy integration with external applications, the application maximizes enterprise productivity, including employees, customers, partners and suppliers.

eZ Netflow provides important features and benefits for professional service companies, with great deployment flexibility, which empowers many groups to work together simultaneously with advanced tools such as projects and tasks manager, a group calendar, message boards, document sharing, search engine, profiling…etc.

eZ Netflow will help you solve efficiency and quality issues that any organization has to face. Make the most of eZ Netflow collaboration features to:

    • Increase your billable activities ratio: remove the burden of managing contracts, timesheets, billing, payments and everything in between to free your resources for more billable activities.
    • Improve your talents productivity: create group workspaces throughout the portal and let your personnel collaborate easily, frequently, without having to learn a new technology. Help them complete and deliver projects and products respecting deadlines and reducing costs.
    • Enhance project management: Allow project participants to incorporate, in a personalized portal page, a global view of projects in progress. This enables you to immediately identify the bottlenecks, solve them and get faster time-to-market for your products and services.
    • Build stronger relationships: Collaborating with customers and partners on projects via Internet is more profitable than meetings and phone support. This also presents the advantage of involving customers and partners in new initiatives. By nurturing a close relationship with your customers and partners, you will be able to deliver higher-quality products that satisfy your customers and generate higher revenues.
    • Reduce operating costs: Avoiding a separate solution from collaboration – that implies a separate development, security and training cycle – you can save tremendously. Offering a collaboration tool through the portal, you take advantage of an already existing audience on a portal infrastructure with excellent return on investment. This maximizes the chances of deployment success.

    FAQ?

Is our data backed up in case of an emergency?

Data is backed up nightly and written to multiple disks instantly. We can perform full backup recovery in the event of a system-wide emergency. Our hardware is also fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails nothing will be lost and the system will not go down. Our uptime is over 99%.

Is eZ Netflow reliable, secure, and confidential? Is our data safe? Where is the data hosted?

We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and secure. Our state-of-the-art redundant server cluster is hosted and professionally managed by Rackspace, a recognized leader in high-end hosting. You can read about their Zero-Downtime network and data center and what makes Rackspace the best place to host mission-critical websites. We also have the possibility to extend your hosting needs, if you have additional applications and files you need to get out of your offices in a secure place.

Can we export our data if we don’t want to use eZ Netflow anymore? What format is the export in?

Yes, you can export your data as XML. If you are an account owner, click on the “Administration” tab from your eZ Netflow Dashboard. At the bottom of the Administration screen you’ll see an export option. Click the link to request the export you want. Your request will go into a processing queue, and as soon as your export is ready you’ll receive an email with a link to download it.

Can I keep certain people/clients from seeing specific projects? How do we set permissions?

    Do you provide phone support?

We provide unlimited support via email for our paying customers, but we do not provide support over the phone. We do our best to respond to every email within just a few hours of receiving it. We also make sure one of the company owners or a knowledgeable employee answers the email. We do not outsource our support overseas or employ unqualified support staff.

Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees we should know about?

Absolutely not. We think one-time extra fees aren’t the right way to do business. We don’t charge signup fees, termination fees, or any additional fees. The price you pay is simply the fixed monthly fee based on the plan you’ve chosen. We also don’t charge by the person. You can have 1 person or 100 people using eZ Netflow and you’ll still pay the same price.

How does your refund policy work?

eZ Netflow is a month-to-month, pay-as-you-go service so we don’t provide refunds. You are billed every 30 days for the service. You can cancel the service at any time and you won’t be charged again, but you are responsible for any charges already incurred.

Can we pay for eZ Netflow a year in advance? Do you accept POs or payment by check?

We only accept payments with PayPal, whihc also support major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover). You can pay monthly, or in one lump sum for as many months in advance as you’d like. Once you’ve signed up for your 30 Days free trial and feel happy with the service, just go to our home page and use the right column to upgrade or downgrade to the edition or package you need. Invoices are automatically emailed to the account owner every time you are charged.

Do you have special pricing for non-profits, universities, or other groups in need?

We believe everyone is entitled to the best possible price we can offer. Those are the prices you’ll find on the signup page. Our prices are among the lowest in the industry. In fact, our regular prices are actually lower than many competitor’s special non-profit pricing. We do make exceptions based on extraordinary circumstances.

Do you have an affiliate or reseller program? Do you white label your products?

Yes, the eZ Netflow Affiliate Program lets you earn cash by referring customers. It pays you recurring revenue for each customer that signs up through your affiliate link. You get paid upon a customer’s first monthly payment and then get 5% of that customer’s future monthly payments for as long as their account remains open. Sign up or learn more about the eZ Netflow Affiliate Program. We also have have a reseller program and we can white label our products. Contact our CEO for such needs.

Is eZ Netflow available in other languages besides English?

Of course, eZ Netflow does allow UTF-8 character sets so you can enter content in many languages including Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Chinese. Localization and translation of the interface in additional languages is something we will be considering at a future date.

If we upgrade will we be billed twice this month? If we downgrade will we be prorated?

When you upgrade you are instantly upgraded to the higher plan but you don’t have to pay the higher price until next month’s bill. When you downgrade you are instantly downgraded, but you don’t begin paying the lower rate until next month’s bill.

Whenever I try to log in, the login page just reloads and doesn’t display an error message. What’s up?

The most common cause of this is that your browser isn’t set to accept cookies (a cookie is a text-only string that gets entered into the memory of your browser). eZ Netflow requires that cookies are turned on so the application can track your session and know who you are as you use eZ Netflow.

Instructions for turning on cookies in most web browsers can be found at “How to Enable Cookies” or “How to control cookies.” For more information on cookies, see this Wikipedia entry.

The other possibility is you have a firewall or security system set up that is too strict. It’s preventing cookies from being accepted or Javascript from being run. eZ Netflow needs both cookies and javascript in order to function properly.

How can I change the time zone used for time stamps in eZ Netflow?

Go to the Administration Dashboard and find the company/client you want to set the time zone for and click on the “Edit” link for that company. Go to the Time Zone pulldown menu and select the appropriate time for that company.

    Security?

    World-Class Security at Every Level

Security is critical for any organization—failures can have devastating consequences for a company and its customers. As a result, companies spend enormous resources to protect their data and networks.

But eZ Netflow does more. Independent audits confirm that our data security goes far beyond what most companies have been able to achieve for themselves. Using the latest firewall protection, intrusion detection systems, SSL encryption, and proprietary security products, eZ Netflow gives you the peace of mind that only a world-class security infrastructure can provide.

Security is a multidimensional business imperative that demands to be considered at every level, from security for applications to physical facilities to network security. In addition to the latest technologies, world-class security requires ongoing adherence to best-practice policies.

To ensure this adherence, we have formed a strategic partnership with Rackspace Managed Hosting, leading provider in secure and reliable enterprise web hosting. Rackspace systems and processes are built exclusively for delivering managed hosting. Their support staff is highly trained, specifically for supporting complex hosting environments required by On-Demand Services.

    Protection at the Application Level

eZ Netflow protects customer data by ensuring that only authorized users can access it.

  • Administrators assign data security rules that determine which users have access to which data. Sharing models define company-wide defaults and data access based on a role hierarchy.
  • All data is encrypted in transfer, all access is governed by strict password security policies, and all passwords are stored in MD-5 hash format.
  • Applications are continually monitored for security violation attempts.
  • Protection at the Facilities Level

eZ Netflow security standards match those in place at military installations.

  • Authorized personnel must pass through five levels of biometric scanning to reach the eZ Netflow system cages.
  • All buildings are completely anonymous, with bullet-resistant exterior walls and embassy-grade concrete posts and planters around the perimeter.
  • All exterior entrances feature silent alarm systems that notify law enforcement in the event of suspicion or intrusion.
  • Data is backed up to disk and to tape, with tape providing a second level of physical protection. Neither disks nor tapes ever leave the data center.
  • Protection at the Network Level

Multilevel security products from leading security vendors and proven security practices ensure network security.

  • To prevent malicious attacks through unmonitored ports, external firewalls allow only http and https traffic on ports 80 and 443, along with ICMP traffic.
  • Switches ensure that the network complies with the RFC 1918 standard, while address translation technologies further enhance network security.
  • IDS sensors protect all network segments.
  • Internal software systems are protected by two-factor authentication, along with the extensive use of technology that controls points of entry.
  • All networks are certified through third-party vulnerability assessment programs.
